How do you rank vegan dishes?
Each restaurant is scored on how good their vegan version of a specific dish is. A place might have a mediocre menu overall but make incredible vegan ramen — that shows up here. Scores combine review analysis, dish-specific mentions, and our Vegan Friendliness grades (A through E).
Why rank by dish instead of just by restaurant?
Because a great vegan burger spot and a great vegan sushi spot are solving different cravings. Most vegan guides just list "vegan restaurants." That doesn't help when you want pizza at 11 PM in Chicago.
How many cities and dishes do you cover?
829 rankings across 79 dish types. The big ones — pizza, burger, ramen, sushi — cover 20-130 cities each. Regional dishes like poutine or francesinha cover the cities where they actually matter.
